Emma Huff was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, but graduated from Mansfield’s own Summit High School. Emma obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Dance Performance with Highest Honors and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. During her time at UT, Emma was inducted into the inaugural cohort of the B.A. Theatre and Dance Honors Program, and she co-founded SafeHorns, an agency of student government committed to improving campus safety.
In 2022, Emma graduated from SMU Dedman School of Law, where she was President of the Energy Law Association and certified through the Robert B. Rowling Center for Business Law and Leadership. Emma was also inducted into the Pro Bono College of the State Bar of Texas for her contributions to SMU’s COVID-19 Legal Helpline, a project which received recognition from the White House and the U.S. Department of Justice. However, Emma’s true passion has always been education law.
As the daughter of a high school football coach, Emma understands the unique difficulties that educators and administrators face, as well as the profound impact they have on their students’ lives. Emma also grew up advocating for her younger brother who has severe autism in Texas public schools, giving her invaluable insight into the needs of special education students and the school districts who serve them. Based on her personal and professional experiences, Emma is honored to join Leasor Crass, P.C. in what she considers to be her dream job.
Emma lives in Fort Worth where she enjoys golfing, UT athletics, trying new restaurants, and traveling to visit family and friends.
