Ross Mitchell

Partner

Ross hails from the small West Texas town of Van Horn, Texas and is a graduate of Baylor University and South Texas College of Law. He began his career as an Associate Attorney at Tritico Rainey, PLLC representing public school teachers in a variety of employment related matters. While there, Ross worked frequently with districts and firms in the Houston area and was involved in the School Law Section of the State Bar. Ross relocated to Dallas and joined Praesidium, a risk management consulting firm. At Praesidium, Ross worked with independent and public schools, universities, and other organizations across the U.S. and Canada. His work at Praesidium included frequent consultation with clients, policy development, training, risk assessment, incident and file review, crisis management, board guidance, conference speaking engagements, and contributions to industry publications.

Ross’ experience on the employee side, as well as his personal experience growing up in a rural district and extensive professional experience with schools across the country, helps him understand the issues and challenges facing schools today. He brings a unique perspective to this work and appreciates the opportunity to support districts large and small as part of the Leasor Crass team.

Ross and his wife reside in Dallas, Texas. In his downtime, Ross enjoys spending time outdoors, Baylor sports, and traveling with his wife.
