Tommy Fisher has been a trial lawyer for 32 years. He began his career as an associate with Jenkens & Gilchrist in Dallas, Texas. He was a Senior Attorney with Gardere & Wynne from 1996 to 2001. In 2001, Tommy joined the Fort Worth law firm of Shannon Gracey Ratliff & Miller as a partner, where he remained until 2015. In 2015, Tommy joined his brother in his practice, Fisher Injury Lawyers.
Over his 30 plus year career, Tommy has handled lawsuits involving professional malpractice, banking, real estate, employment, oil and gas, personal injury, civil rights, insurance and disability disputes. He has represented school districts in state and federal courts as well as proceedings before the EEOC, Office for Civil Rights, and the Texas Education Commissioner. He is experienced in every facet of trial practice, from initial investigation and claim initiation through appeal. He has tried cases in Texas district and County Courts, as well in U.S. District Courts and has appeared in the Texas Court of Appeals and U.S Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Tommy also advises school boards and administrators on a broad range of general school law issues.
Tommy has been a member of the Mansfield Education Foundation Board of Directors, the Armed Forces Bowl Host Committee, the Arlington Southwest Little League Board of Directors and the Mansfield Summit and Mansfield Legacy Booster Clubs. He is a founding director of the Haley E. Nowak Foundation.
