Katie Pestcoe

Associate

Katie joined the Leasor Crass team upon graduating from the Texas A&M University School of Law in 2021. Prior to law school Katie attended the University of Pittsburgh where she received her degree in Communication Rhetoric and Political Science with a concentration in International Relations.

During law school Katie was a judicial intern for the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas for Judge David Horan and was recognized for her pro bono work throughout the community. Additionally, Katie was an executive board member of the Texas A&M Business Law Society, and served as a law clerk in the areas of business, employment, and education law, as well as civil litigation.

Katie comes from a family of public educators and understands the importance of a cohesive system involving school districts, school boards, and educators that all work together for the benefit of the students. Abraham Lincoln emphasized the importance of education as the “most important subject which we as a people can be engaged in” and Katie is thrilled to be a part of the Leasor Crass team where education is our specialty.

Although a Northerner by birth (Pittsburgh, PA) Katie has always been a Texan at heart except for rooting on her beloved Steelers. Katie has made her home in Fort Worth with her husband Jared and their two adopted rescue pups.

Outside of the office Katie enjoys working out, finding cool new restaurants and food spots, playing in a community volleyball league, and international travel.
